General Information

About Chrome

hromium was discovered by Louis Vauquelin in 1797. Chromium is a shiny, gray colored, hard and safe metal. Resistant to abrasion for its toughness, up to durability in rebuilding steels (in stainless steels). The most important sector of chromatics is the production of ferrochrome used in stainless steel. Stainless steel is a very important ingredient of the metal and weapons industry. Production to chrome steel, protection against abrasive and oxidation against breakage and impacts. Chromium chemicals are widely used in rusting application and on the ship. It is suitable weather and water resistant. This increase is used in boat and boat accessories (rollbar, guardrail, handle, fuel tanks, water tanks, handrail, cleat, dovetail, backrests, etc.).

As Şen Paslanmaz, they are the ones who benefit from the quality and usage areas of used stainless steel (). All that we use have certificates such as ISO 9001, BVQİ, ISO/TS 16949, ISO 14001, EN 10088-1, TS EN 10028-7, TS EN 13445-2, EN 10204.

304 Quality Stainless Steel

ASTM 304 (Quality 304) is the biggest stainless steel success story. It accounts for 50% of all stainless steel production and about half of stainless consumption and is used in almost all industrial applications.
304 is not just a suitable stainless steel for any application; At the same time, understanding the qualities of 304 provides a practical basis for defining the suitability of stainless steel in a desired application and an excellent basis for comparing the materials of the austenitic stainless steel group. We all have satisfactory experience with the use of 304 and knowledge of its deep drawing properties. The metallic part used in your cutlery, pressure cookers, sinks and even floppy disks is 304 stainless steel.

Components:

Grade 304L is a low carbon 304 that is occasionally used to prevent possible corrosion sensitivity on welded parts. Grade 304H improves strength (especially at temperatures above 500 ºC) and contains a higher carbon content than 304L. This grade is not used for applications where sensitive corrosion is possible.

316 Quality Stainless Steel

If an application requires a higher corrosion resistance than 304 grade will provide, 316 grade is one step ahead. Grade 316 has a mechanical, physical and manufacturability character that is visually equivalent to grade 304, but has better corrosion resistance than grade 304, especially against nucleation corrosion in chloride environments.
Grade 316 is the second most popular grade in the stainless steel family. It has a consumption rate of 20% among all manufactured stainless steel products.

Components:

316 shows a comparison of 316L and 316H grades.
Grade 316L is a low carbon 316 and is used against sensitive corrosion in welded parts.
316H quality contains higher carbon content than 316L and has higher strength (especially at temperatures above 500 ºC). However, it should not be used in places where sensitive rusting can occur.
